HOVDA MINISTRIES
We are Doug and Maureen Hovda.
Our ministry of encouragement keeps us involved in the lives of many people throughout the United States. Many are lonely, burdened, fearful, and need to be loved and listened to. These folks are Christ followers who have become discouraged, down hearted, and yes, disillusioned. The world has crept into their lives and ministry. We counsel them, listen to and advise them, pray with them and point them to a fresh look into God's Word. As we travel from city to city, we experience many opportunities to share Jesus with those we meet along the road. So our ministry is not only for the Christ followers alone, but for those who need to know our Jesus as well. God has been faithful in every way and we love what we do, seeing spiritual growth in the lives of many. We also advise and counsel through the internet. The ministry continues to grow locally as we participate in small groups, too.
Our financial support is way down and we are getting older, so we travel less and do a lot of one on one counseling and encouraging locally. Now that we have just moved to a new community, we are looking forward to what God has planned out for us. God does all things well.
